Message From Principal
The ‘Arts & Science college, Chaklamba' is situated in rural area in Georai Tehsil in Beed district. The population of Chaklamba is about 674. This taluka is known for the area of sugarcane cutter. The college aims at holistic development of the students in the region. The college wishes to make able its students to face global challenges in the competitive world.
The Jai Bhavani Shikshan Parsarak Mandal is founded by hon’ble Shivajiraoji Pandit in 1974. The opportunities of higher education should be made available to the rural youth of the area. Keeping this in mind, ‘Arts and science college, Chaklamba was started in June 2012 by hon’ble Amarsimhaji Pandit, M.L.C. The college aims at eliminating darkness, ignorance, slavery, superstition through education. To imbibe the scientific attitude and enable students in knowledge, moral in behavior, free from fear, fraternity, and social justice, these are main aspects of the vision of the college. Our mission is to impart the higher education to rural and underprivileged section of the society, also to strengthen all round regional development. The college aims to impart qualitative education to students form socially, economically, educationally, backward communities for their holistic development. It is also aimed to inculcate democratic, cultural and moral values among the students. It is also important to promote the culture of research among the students.
The college knows its social responsibility. In order to create the ideal citizen, the college has taken several initiatives and steps. Using the help of innovative practices, the college has tried to sustain the link with the society.
Achieving quality is a continuous process. Using the maximum possible sources, the college has tried to give the best output. The college has produced several students who are successful in their career. The process of self assessment is very vast and all – inclusive. There is possibility to have drawbacks. Our efforts are to promote the quality and to reduce the drawbacks.
